Progress
The progress with my music video has been a bit slow at the moment. However my digi-pack is coming along nicely. There are a few aspects that I need to change and add, for example the font. I need to seperate the track listings and the title from the bands name to meet the conventions of a digi-pack. Also I need to add in the copyright parts of the album also to meet the conventions. I need to get out and film my music video, it's been difficult because of school and the time of day I finish means it gets dark very quickly therefore I think that half term would be a good chance to get most of if not all of my filming done. Then over the half term as well I can edit and begin to compose and produce my music video in time to meet deadlines.

Digipack development

This is my current development with my digipack, I have decided to go with a kind of burnt flower theme. To do this is took a macro style image of a lilly with some smaller flowers around it. I tried to get some negative space to there would be room for track listing and the album text. I cropped different areas of my image to create a kind of puzzle affect throughout the digipack. The top layer is yet to be flipped as when the digipack is printed the top layer will be folded over.

Digi-pack cover, further developed

I have further developed ideas for a digi-pack cover. I took this image whilst in London and thought it would be a nice piece of photography to go on the digi-pack. Though it is not my final cover I like the style of the image and how it relates to the band and their music. The image is of a playground in the city, this represents the bands playful and boyish sound. To reinforce this the text is quite soft and playful also. Where as the fire engine represents their 'loud' sound, the bands music itself contrasts against each other so I really like the contrasting objects. Also the colours contrast, the blue and red contrast against not just each other but the dull background.
