My brief

The brief I have chosen is brief one:
A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, no longer than five minutes duration, together with:
A cover for its release as part of a digipack (CD/DVD package)
A magazine advertisement for the digipack (CD/DVD package)

I chose this brief as it was the most attractive to me, by choosing to make a music video I think I will be more engaged with the task, therefore having more passion for it.

I am hoping to do a rock video, I am yet to find an unsigned band to work with, however I have a few ideas. I think it is important to find a band and a song first before exploring ideas for the music video so that I can adapt the music and the video together.

Research I will have to complete is to look into rock videos and the genre, think about what makes a good rock video, find a band, listen to all their songs and chose one, brainstorm ideas for the video and try to create a visual idea. After this I can begin story boarding and eventually filming.
